Dowd French Double - Taskin

Dowd French Double - Taskin

My partner had this instrument built in 1967. He sold it upon moving to San Francisco. We were fortunate to find it for sale in 2005. It turns out that "Marcel" had been leading life as the house harpsichord of the great Ralph Kirkpatrick. I often think of how many Scarlatti sonatas were so wonderfully played on this harspsichord as I humbly practice on it.
